As a Chartered Surveyor, Doug worked for a number of organisations, including Milton Keynes Development Corporation and MEPC, before being appointed Chief Executive of Declan Kelly Group in 1983 and handling a multi-million pound residential and commercial development portfolio spread throughout the UK and Europe.
